Tyranid Zoanthropes and Venomthropes are two psychic and toxin support organisms built from the same plastic kit — Zoanthropes are floating brain-creatures that project devastating warp energy and act as Synapse nodes, while Venomthropes trail toxic spore clouds that provide a cover aura for nearby Tyranid units. This plastic kit assembles three models in either configuration with the appropriate upper body and limb builds for each variant.
On the tabletop Zoanthropes provide psychic mortal wound output and Synapse coverage, making them invaluable in any psychic-heavy Tyranid list. Venomthropes provide a -1 to-hit aura that makes nearby infantry significantly harder to eliminate at range — one of the most cost-effective defensive buffs available to Tyranid armies.
