Darkstar Old Silver is a tarnished, slightly dull silver metallic acrylic — a silver that has lost the bright polish of new metal and taken on the flat, greyed quality of silverwork left untended over time. It sits darker than Darkstar Silver and has less sheen, giving surfaces the immediately recognisable quality of aged precious metal rather than functional working steel.
Use for Nagash and undead silverwork where age and abandonment should show in the metal, for ancient artefact details on display models where the silver should read as old and storied, for Soulblight Gravelords silver armour in faded noble schemes, and for the jewellery and crown details of fantasy characters where silver should feel ancient rather than regal.
