Citadel Air Caliban Green is the airbrush-ready formulation of one of the most-used dark greens in the hobby — the standard starting point for Dark Angels armour, Salamanders Space Marines and any scheme that needs a deep, rich, almost black-green base before highlights are built up. The Air version gives the same colour in a form that covers large areas evenly without brush marks.
Apply over black or dark grey primer as the foundation for Dark Angels or Salamanders armour. The deep colour requires lighter greens like Warpstone Glow, Moot Green and Gauss Blaster Green to bring out through successive highlighting passes. Also works for vegetation on terrain — dark jungle groundwork on the underside of leaves and ground-level foliage.
