Citadel Base Zandri Dust is a warm, sandy tan — the foundation of the Citadel bone colour progression and one of the most-used colours in the range for desert terrain, ancient armour and the dry, sun-bleached surfaces common across many Warhammer army palettes. It covers in a single coat and provides the starting base for Agrax Earthshade wash before bone highlight colours bring the surface to life.
Apply as the base for Ossiarch Bonereapers, skeleton armies and Tomb Kings models in a bone colour scheme. Works as the primary base for desert terrain sections, arid model bases and the light leather and cloth elements of Imperial Guard regiments in sandy schemes. Also suits Tau armour in a desert camouflage scheme and any model where a warm, faded tan is the dominant colour.
