Aeldari Emerald is a deep, saturated emerald green from Citadel's Contrast range. Applied over a light basecoat such as Wraithbone or Grey Seer, it flows into the recesses of a model while leaving raised surfaces lighter, producing a shaded and highlighted result from a single coat. The colour sits in the cool green spectrum — vivid enough to read clearly across the table while retaining the depth and transparency typical of the Contrast formula.
The primary use for Aeldari Emerald is Aeldari armour, where the emerald tone matches the jewelled colour palette used across Ulthwé, Biel-Tan, and custom Craftworld schemes. It also works well on gemstone details, Seraphon scales, foliage and leaf basing elements, and as a transparent green glaze over metallic surfaces to produce oxidised copper and verdigris effects. On Tyranid carapace primed in Wraithbone, a single coat produces a clean tabletop result. Thinning with Contrast Medium softens the pooling effect for broader blending across flat surfaces.
