Citadel Contrast Iyanden Yellow is a rich, warm yellow in the Contrast range, named for Craftworld Iyanden — the ghost Craftworld of the Aeldari, whose warriors died fighting Tyranids and were reborn as Wraithguard and Wraithlords. The yellow-bone quality of the Iyanden scheme is distinctive and warm, and this Contrast paint gives that tone in a single coat over Wraithbone primer, combining the base colour and the shade that gives bone its depth.
Apply over Wraithbone spray on Iyanden Craftworld Wraithguard, Wraithlords and Wraithblades for the canonical bone-yellow armour colour, and on Iyanden Ghost Warriors and vehicles. Also works for Imperial Fists Space Marine armour in quick-paint schemes — the warm tone over Wraithbone gives a richer yellow than a cold primer would — and for the bright yellow of Age of Sigmar armies with strong yellow schemes. The depth the Contrast formula creates prevents yellow from reading as flat even in one coat.
