Not typically used across an entire model, it's an invaluable spot-treatment tool for specific effects that should look liquid, shiny or refractive.
Apply to gemstones and lenses after the colour coats for an immediate jewel effect. Use on eyes to make them read as living and reflective. Apply on Blood for the Blood God and other wet effects to increase the liquid appearance. Works on power swords and force weapons for a refractive blade look. A dot of 'Ardcoat is the final stage of most painted gems and lenses in the hobby.
