Hive Guard are heavily armoured gun-beasts, bound to powerful symbiotic bio-weapons and set to watch over Tyranid capillary towers until prey wanders into range. They can be armed with either impaler cannons or shockcannons, with enough weapons in the box to equip the whole unit either way.
This plastic kit can be built as three Hive Guard or three Tyrant Guard, giving Tyranids collectors flexibility as they expand a swarm. Thick chitin and mechanical bio-weapons make for an absorbing painting project.
